Asus EeeBook X205 Notebook launched in India

Tech giant Asus has finally launched its EeeBook X205 notebook on January 21, 2014 in Indian for an exclusive price of Rs. 14,999. The company had showed the new notebook in September 2014.

The company is already selling the device online on e-commerce website Flipkart and the product is expected to reach the stores in February.

Asus EeeBook X205 has been designed to be budget friendly and is loaded with Windows 8.1 with Bing. The model comes with a 11.6-inch HD display, with 1366×768 pixels resolutions.

For the processor, it has “64-bit 1.3GHz Intel Atom ‘Bay Trail-T’ Z3735 processor”, which comes with 1.83GHz turbo and 2MB Cache. EeeBook X205 has DDR3L RAM of 2GB. Check all the features and specifications here.

Sadly, there isn’t much to boast in terms of inbuilt storage, which is limited to 32GB, but users will be happy to have the microSD card slot that allows a maximum storage addition of 128 GB. Of the 32GB onboard, only odd 20 GB will be available for users.

The model comes in different colors, including, Golden, white and red and offers 2 USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

Also included is a micro HDMI port and the battery is claimed to offer 12 hours of web browsing.

Microsoft Office 365 has been loaded on the device for one year with full versions, and Asus will offer 500GB Asus WebStorage with the device.

For audio, the model has SonicMaster and the makers claim that the touchpad of the notebook is 36 percent larger than most other rivals.
