In reaction to the coronavirus epidemic, the American economy entered complete shutdown mode in March 2020. The American government quickly put in place several stimulus check plans in an attempt to aid consumers and businesses. Even though the federal funds were long ago depleted, several states that joined the game later are still dispersing aid. While several programs came to an end in 2022, some states still had payments due in 2023.
Stimulus Payments For California
In 2022, California authorized $1,050 in inflation relief checks; the majority of payouts have been made already. Yet, according to government estimates, 5% of cheques won’t be cashed until January 15, 2023. Rebate values start at $350 & depend on several factors, including household size, tax-filing status, and income. Couples making at least $500,000 and individuals making $250,000 or more are not eligible.
Colorado
Residents of Colorado who paid their taxes on time for the year 2021 most certainly already have payments of $750 for single filers & $1,500 for joint claimers by September 30. The money, which is expected to arrive not later than January 31, 2023, may still be awaiting those who submitted an extension by the deadline of October 17.
Idaho
Idaho passed rebates for the 2022 Special Session, which will be distributed by March 2023 end. The refund is equal to $300 for individual filers and $600 for joint filers, or 10% of the taxpayer’s 2020 income tax burden, whichever is larger. Around 800,000 payments totaling up to $500 million are expected to be sent, according to the state Tax Commission.
New Jersey
Two million residents of New Jersey will receive rebates on their property taxes totaling $2 billion. The refund amount is determined by income, with those earning up to $150,000 eligible for $1,500 & that earning between $150,000 and $250,000 ineligible for $1,000. Tenants are also eligible for $450 as long as their annual income does not exceed $150,000. Payments must be received by May 2023 at the latest reports Finance.yahoo.
