Martha Stewart, 81, Shines in Swimsuits for Historic SI Swimsuit Cover

Martha Stewart is no stranger to success. The entrepreneur and best-selling author has built a lifestyle empire that reaches millions of fans every month. But she is also not afraid to try new things and challenge herself. That’s why she agreed to pose for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, becoming the oldest woman ever to grace the cover of the iconic magazine.

Stewart, who worked as a model in her teens, looks stunning and confident in a series of sun-soaked photos taken in the Dominican Republic. She wears a variety of swimsuits, from a sleek black one-piece by Body Glove to a glamorous gold number by Yves Saint Laurent. She also accessorizes with hats, sunglasses, jewelry and sarongs, showing off her impeccable style and taste.

Stewart says she wanted to participate in the SI Swimsuit Issue to inspire other women to embrace their beauty and vitality at any age. “I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic,” she says. “Age is not the determining factor in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important.”

Stewart is one of four cover stars for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, along with actress Megan Fox, singer Billie Eilish and soccer star Megan Rapinoe.
