Zendaya is known for her impeccable style and fashion sense, but even she had to deal with a wardrobe mishap before attending a Bulgari event in New York City on Thursday.
The actress and singer revealed on her Instagram Stories that the dress she was supposed to wear for the occasion was lost in transit and never arrived. However, she didn’t let that stop her from looking fabulous and finding a last-minute replacement.
She shared a video of herself posing in a black strapless gown with a thigh-high slit and a sparkling necklace. She captioned it, “The saga of the missing dress. Long story short, it got lost somewhere between Italy and NY lol so we had to improvise.” She also thanked her stylist Law Roach and Bulgari for “making it happen.”

Zendaya also posted a photo of herself with her Dune co-star Timothée Chalamet, who was also at the event. The two looked stunning together as they smiled for the camera. Zendaya wrote, “My friend @tchalamet.” She also added a heart emoji.
Zendaya and Chalamet are set to star in the highly anticipated sci-fi epic Dune, which is based on the novel by Frank Herbert. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve and also features Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, and more. It is scheduled to be released on October 22 in theaters and on HBO Max.
