World number 5, tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas recently confirmed being in a relationship with fellow Tennis player Paula Badosa. Dating rumors were sparked after Badosa was seeing Tsitispas’ matches in the French Grand Slam.
The pair have also been posting steaming pictures on Instagram stories which have made the fans wonder if anything has been going on between them. The two of them were seen spending a lot of time together and were also spotted at the same hotel in Dubai. Speculation rose high when the duo posted a couple of selfies together of the music streaming app, Spotify.
Despite all these raging rumors, the couple didn’t comment on their relationship until now. In an interview with a German newspaper, BILD, before the Stuttgart Open, Tsitsipas confirmed that he and Badosa have indeed been together for quite some time now. He even went on to say that he has found a soulmate in Badosa.
“Yes, we are a couple, but not only that. We are soulmates. That’s how it should be defined. It is very rare that you find your soulmate. If you ask Paula, she’ll tell you the same thing.” said the ATP star.
He went onto saying how he has never felt this attracted to any woman before and has never found as much beauty and interest in anybody. He propounded that they have a sort of ‘spiritual’ connection with each other.
“Our minds are on the same wavelength. It is such a spiritual connection. I don’t think many people experience this kind of connection with someone.” The Greek was found saying.
Earlier, Tsitsipas have been rumored dating his double’s partner and world number 8 in WTA ranking, Maria Sakkari which he slammed down. A few months ago he broke up with his 4 year long girlfriend Theodora Petalas.
Currently the Greek is participating in Stuttgart Open. He reached the Quarter finals of The French Open where he was defeated by C. Alcaraz Garfia.
