Tata Nexon Gets a Facelift: Check Out the Prices and Features

Tata Nexon Facelift Launch: Prices Begin at Rs 8.10 Lakh

Automobile major Tata Motors has launched the facelift of its best-selling compact SUV Nexon at a starting price of Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon’s instrument panel has a navigation system and a touch screen in the segment.

This is Tata Nexon’s second facelift, as it received its first facelift in 2020. While the Nexon retains its smart, rugged, compact SUV look, its actual design resembles a Curvv and Harrier EV-inspired edition.

The new Nexon now has a headlight housed in a trapezoidal housing on which daytime running lights (DRL) are located.

Nexon’s alloys also feature a new design language that looks ‘EV friendly’. In terms of length, the car hasn’t changed much; the length increased by only 2 mm and the height by 14 mm.

The width is 7 mm less than the current model. Nexon’s wheelbase and ground clearance remained unchanged at 2,498 mm and 208 mm.

Nexon’s luggage capacity has now increased from 32 liters to 382 litres. More maintenance is required for the air conditioner in the car.

There are now fewer physical buttons on the center console, as a touch panel replaces them. The dashboard features leather inserts and carbon fiber-like trim.

Tata Nexon facelift: A larger touchscreen

The top trim of Nexon now has a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen and a similar dashboard. As a first feature in the segment, the instrument panel includes a navigation screen in addition to the touch screen.

The car also has a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, wireless chargers, and ventilated front seats. The air purifier and solar system can be controlled with voice commands.

The car also has a 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 115 hp power and 260 Nm maximum torque. Both the engines are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT.

However, the petrol Nexon is also available with a five-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters.
