However, Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan put on a 120-run partnership to rescue the Pakistan innings. Shakeel reached his half-century in just 32 balls, which is the second-fastest half-century by any Pakistan batter in the history of the World Cup.
The Netherlands bowlers made a comeback after the 30th over, dismissing Shakeel, Rizwan, and Iftikhar Ahmed in quick succession. However, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz steadied the ship for Pakistan once again.
Pakistan have never won a World Cup game in India, and they will be looking to end that record in this match.
