The previous chapter saw Bakugo launch himself toward Deku, who immediately understood what he needed to do and used the Second OFA user’s quirk Gearshift on Bakugo.
The previous chapter showed Bakugo going to help Deku but he uses the Second OFA user’s quirk Gear Shift on Bakugo so that he can save All Might.
How Did Bakugo Survive?
The new “My Hero Academia” chapter shows All Might and Nighteye having a conversation regarding a turn of events. It is revealed that All Might was actually destined to meet his demise but was miraculously saved by Bakugo. This turn of events signifies that All Might was able to alter his fate and fulfill his promise to Deku.
While All Might believes in the idea of mentors making sacrifices for their students Nighteye disagrees, stating that such notions are elements found in comic books and not necessarily applicable, in real life heroism.
In chapter 405 of “My Hero Academia” there’s a scene where Bakugo and All Might land on a structure. People who had previously interacted with Bakugo, like Mahoro and Katsuma from the movie Heroes Rising, recognized him.
All Might checked on Bakugo’s well-being and in return Bakugo asked if he was okay too.
Suddenly Bakugo spat out an Edgeshot along with some blood. It turns out that the blood had accumulated inside Bakugo so Edgeshot explained that he had to make him spit it out.
Edgeshot tended to Bakugo’s injuries patching up his bones and organs. Despite the potential for suffering Bakugo felt a sense of gratitude for being alive despite Edgeshots cautionary words.
His focus then shifted towards the child confirmed by All Might to be AFO as he prepared himself for the battle. All Might bestowed upon Bakugo his support item gauntlet, which he eagerly put on.
“My Hero Academia”: All For One’s Plan
In the chapter of “My Hero Academia”, Chapter 405 some interesting details were revealed. It seems that All For One (AFO), the main villain, had his eyes on Bakugo. However, AFOs primary concern was Tomura as he willingly gave away his quirk to him.
AFOs anger grew as he reminisced about all the heroes he had clashed with in the past. That’s when Bakugo stepped up and boldly declared himself as the challenge for AFO.
The moment Bakugo unleashed an explosion on AFOs face it reminded him of the user of One For All (OFA). In a gesture, Bakugo assured Deku that he could rely on him for assistance.
