No one believed Angel when she claimed she couldn’t reveal Takaba’s Cursed Technique, not  himself. She started explaining it. Then the storyline abruptly shifted to Takaba and Kenjaku.

Kenjaku’s  centipede Curses didn’t inflict any harm on Takaba. In a twist Takaba trapped Kenjaku in a bandana and a glass as a playful gesture.

It dawned on Kenjaku that Takaba’s Cursed Technique had the power to manifest his imagination into reality. Despite his knowledge spanning thousands of years Kenjaku realized it wouldn’t be enough to defeat Takaba.

During their conversation Kenjaku revealed that every Cursed Technique has a weakness. They also reminisced about a comedy competition in which Takaba emerged victorious in the past.

What Is Kenjaku’s Real Motive?

Through their exchange of words Takaba discovered that Kenjaku sought to drive evolution because he found it intriguing. Determined to make an impact, Takaba concluded that making Kenjaku laugh was crucial.

Takaba attempted to brighten Kenjaku’s  mood with his jokes. Finding them amusing, Kenjaku opted to offer some critiques.

Takaba heavily relies on his confidence as a technique, which made it clear to Kenjaku that he could gain the hand by undermining Takaba’s self assurance.

Taking advantage of this realization Kenjaku managed to strike a nerve with Takaba provoking his anger and prompting him to issue a challenge; a game where the objective’s not to laugh.

Takaba tried to bring a smile to Kenjaku’s  face by making an expression. However when Kenjaku unveiled his appearance Takaba couldn’t help but burst into laughter. This gave Kenjaku the opportunity to strike Takaba with force.

With Hazenoki’s lifeless body lying beside him Takaba fell to the ground feeling utterly devoid of confidence. As Kenjaku approached him he started pondering why he ever chose to pursue a career in comedy.
