The tables are turned in the latest instalment of the Planet of The Apes franchise as humans face extinction while the apes have taken over the world. The hunter becomes the hunted in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the fourth film in the Planet of the Apes series, directed by Wes Ball.

The film’s official synopsis reads:
“As a tyrannical new ape leader builds his empire, one young ape embarks on a harrowing journey that forces him to question everything he knows about the past and make decisions that will define the future. both apes and humans.”The Planet of the Apes film franchise began in the 1960s and is based on a novel by Pierre Boulle.
It was later revived in 2011 with the introduction of the beloved Ceasor, who became super-intelligent through a science experiment. With his newfound awareness, he is more self-aware and wants his kind to live safely away from humans. In the following instalments, the fight between humans and apes got worse.
In the fourth instalment, things take a turn for the worse when a tyrannical leader rises to wipe out the human race. However, the protagonist seems to have something powerful up his sleeve.
