While some of us celebrated the Fourth Of July by eating hot dogs starting at 10:00 am, making those weird American flag cakes with blueberries, and attempting (and failing) to write our names in sparklers for cute pics, Katy Perry had other plans!
The pop superstar celebrated Independence Day by striking a Rosie the Riveter pose in a star-shaped American flag-themed swimsuit top.
The caption? Obviously, “BB UR A FIREWORK,” followed by “and speaking of work, WOMAN’S WORLD IS GOING TO WORK IN ONE WEEK HAPPY 4TH.”
In the long tradition of celebs randomly wearing American flag swimsuits on July 4th, this tops the list! Katy Perry’s new single, “Woman’s World,” is set to release soon, and she’s been promoting it all over the world.
During a promotional event in France, she even wore the world’s longest train featuring the song’s lyrics.
