
Hubballi, May 23, 2026: Union Minister Prahlad Joshi participated in the Rozgar Mela program held today at the Railway Officers’ Club in Hubballi, where appointment letters were distributed to young men and women of the region under the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela.
The initiative, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to accelerate the filling of vacant posts in government institutions. On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Rozgar Mela and addressed the gathering through video conference.
Across the country, more than 51,000 youth were given appointment letters at 47 locations nationwide, marking a significant step in expanding employment opportunities.

In Hubballi, a total of 150 candidates received appointment letters. The distribution covered several central government institutions:
- Indian Railways – 26
- India Post – 17
- Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) – 06
- Bank of Baroda – 37
- State Bank of India – 10
- Canara Bank – 08
- Central University Kalaburagi – 46
Speaking at the event, Prahlad Joshi emphasized that the Rozgar Mela is a boon to the younger generation, shaping a sustainable and strong future. He noted that the role of youth in national development is crucial, and their contribution will be vital in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The Railway Department organized the program, and dignitaries present included Railway General Manager P. Ananth, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Bela Meena, along with senior officials and community leaders.
The Rozgar Mela continues to stand as a symbol of opportunity and empowerment, offering thousands of young Indians a pathway to secure government employment and contribute to the nation’s progress.
