This wasn’t a sudden collapse. OnePlus had been winding down for weeks after confirming its exit plans back in July.
What’s Actually Gone From Shelves
Almost the entire product lineup vanished from oneplus.com. Here’s what’s no longer available in the US and Canada:
- OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R smartphones
- OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet
- OnePlus Watch 4
- All smartwatch and tablet listings on the Canadian site
Only a handful of accessories remain in stock. The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro are still purchasable, along with a case or two.
Why OnePlus Made the Call
Numbers tell the real story here. OnePlus shipped around one million phones in the US back in 2019, but that number dropped below 130,000 by 2025.
Market share collapsed even harder. OnePlus held 1.8% of the US market in 2021, and that figure sank to roughly 0.1% by 2025.
Losing its T-Mobile carrier deal back in 2023 didn’t help either. Carrier partnerships drive most smartphone sales in the US, and OnePlus never found a replacement.
What Happens to Current Owners
Nobody with an existing device needs to panic. OnePlus confirmed that phones already sold will keep receiving software updates and after-sales support.
Some eligible devices may even shift over to ColorOS, the operating system used by parent company Oppo. A OnePlus spokesperson said the brand’s “spirit and capabilities” would still live on through Oppo, even as the standalone brand steps back from North America.
India Stays Untouched, For Now
OnePlus was clear that this pullback doesn’t extend everywhere. The company called India a “priority market” and pointed to the recent OnePlus N6 launch as proof.
