FedEx Philippines takes 4th HR Asia employer listing and 3 special awards

FedEx Philippines named among HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia for 2026

FedEx Philippines said on October 7, 2026, that HR Asia named it one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia for a fourth straight year. The company also took three special honors: the People Transformation Award, the Sustainable Workplace Award, and the Tech Empowerment Award.

HR Asia, a magazine for human-resource managers in the Asia Pacific, runs the list through its Total Engagement Assessment Model. The release says that model scores employee engagement, workplace culture, and HR practice. It does not publish a score for FedEx, a rank, or the size of the Philippines list.

Three extra awards

The People Transformation Award is for HR systems rewritten around a changing workforce. The Sustainable Workplace Award is for companies that put environmental practice into the office and the employee experience. The Tech Empowerment Award is for digital tools used in HR and in day-to-day work. The release does not name the tools or the sustainability projects.

“We are honored to receive these recognitions, which are a reflection of our people’s commitment to the Purple Promise of making every FedEx experience outstanding,” Garrick Thompson, managing director of FedEx Philippines, said in the release. He said the promise covers team members as well as customers, and pointed to digital tools, upskilling, and sustainability work.

This is the second workplace citation the Manila operation has put out this season. On September 15, FedEx said the Philippines business had a 2026 Great Place to Work certification and three prizes at the HR Excellence Awards, against 70 organizations: silver for cross-generational workforce engagement, silver for retention strategy, and bronze for performance-management evolution. That was a third straight year at those awards.
