Workers are laying a cement-concrete road in Gurusiddheshwar Nagar, G. Adda, Ward 65, Hubballi. Hubballi East MLA Prasad Abbayya pushed the work. It is funded under the Chief Minister’s special grant. Corporator Sunitha Prakash Burabure posted the update on October 10, 2026.
The stretch is in the Hubballi-Dharwad city corporation area. Burabure said the road will ease movement for residents and add to local development. She called basic civic work the priority.
Who is named
Prasad Abbayya is the MLA for Hubballi East. Sunitha Prakash Burabure is the corporator for Ward 65. The grant is a Chief Minister’s special allocation, which is a state pool an MLA can draw on for a local job. The corporation is the body that carries the work out.
About Ward 65
Ward 65 covers Gurusiddheshwar Nagar and the G. Adda side of east Hubballi. A CC road replaces a mud or tar stretch with a concrete surface, which holds up better in the rain.
