The SSK Community Friends Association and Women’s Members Association in Hubballi will hold the second felicitation ceremony for its community members aged 90 and above. Smt. Gangubai Ramakrishnasa Bhandage will be honoured on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The programme is being organised under the leadership of former HUDA Chairman Sri Nagesh Kalaburgi. It is part of the ongoing activities linked to the SSK Samaj’s 90-year celebrations.
Event Details
The felicitation takes place at 4:30 PM at Sri Subhash Bhandage’s residence, next to J.K. English Medium School. Organisers have kept the programme at a home so that the elderly person being honoured does not need to travel.
Sri Mahesh Tenginakai, MLA of the Central Constituency, and Sri Govind Joshi, BJP leader and businessman, will be the guests of honour.
Other invitees include Hubballi-Dharwad SSK Kendra Panch Samithi Chairman Sri Satish Meharwade, Former Hubballi MLA Sri Ashok Katwe, The SSK Co-Operative Bank, Hubballi chairman Sri Vithal Ladwa, Sri Ishwarsaa Meharwade, Sri Anant S., and Sri Rajesh Jadi. Members of the Women’s Mandal and Youth Mandal are also expected to attend.
SSK Community Initiative
The SSK Friends Association has been arranging home-based felicitation programmes for community elders who have crossed 90 years. This is the second such ceremony announced during the 90-year period of the society.
Family members, neighbours, and community workers are likely to be present. The gathering is expected to remain simple, with traditional greetings and a short ceremony.
With this event, the Hubballi SSK Samaj continues its practice of acknowledging senior members of the community during its 90th year.
