Hubballi SSK Savaji Group to Honor Elders Over 90 at Home

A social group of the Somavansha Sahasrarjuna Kshatriya (SSK) in Hubballi is lining up home visits and honour for elders who have crossed 90. SSK Mitra Balaga will carry the honors, with former HUDA president Nagesh Kalaburgi in charge. The visits are due to start soon.

Organizers are not calling people to a hall. They plan to meet each elder at home, with children, relatives, and neighbors present. The notice went out on Friday, October 2, 2026. A date is still open.

Hubballi SSK honor will happen at the door

The plan covers senior citizens of SSK Samaj aged 90 and above. A shawl and a few words at a rented stage would have been the easier route. This group chose the house instead, so a 90-year-old does not have to travel for the greeting.

That is a practical call in the old wards. Many of these elders do not leave the lane often. A visit keeps the honor on their terms. Fruit and garlands are expected. The speech, if there is one, will be short.
