England team news
England’s chances of winning the match will depend largely on the availability of Stokes, who is still recovering from a knee injury. He practiced in the nets for two consecutive days but only faced some gentle deliveries from the support staff and local spinners.
Stokes looked uncomfortable while running and turning, and Buttler confirmed that he is ‘probably unlikely’ to feature in the final match.
Probable XI: Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Jos Buttler, Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid and Mark Wood.
England skipper Jos Buttler is optimistic that his players will deliver today; Cricbuzz quoted him saying, “It’s good for us to have had a couple of really good days in preparation. We’re desperate to get out and put in a good performance. We know we didn’t play as well in the last game, and we’re always desperate to put that right, both individually and as a team.”
Bangladesh
On the other hand, Bangladesh has had a mixed start to their campaign, losing to India in their opening match before bouncing back with a thrilling win over New Zealand in their second game.
The Tigers have shown their fighting spirit and resilience, overcoming tough situations and challenging opponents. Led by Tamim Iqbal, the Bangladesh side has a strong batting line-up featuring the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah, who can score big runs and chase down any target.
