It’s not new that OTT has been doing some wonderful work churning out new releases every week, if not every day. Most of all, it’s working on quantity as well as quality. Lets take a look a new movie/tv show releases from April 21-15, 2025.

From binge-worthy shows to unforgettable movie plots, here are some new releases that should be on your list if they aren’t already!

‘Andor’ season 2

“Andor”, a part of the Star Wars franchise, returns with another hit season. The series follows Cassian Andor, a thief turned rebel spy, played by Deigo Luna.

Through the show, we get to see how he became radicalized against the Galactic Empire along with how the wider Rebel Alliance is formed. Fans have been praising the new trailers and glimpses already and if we were you, we’d be on that bandwagon too!

‘Bullet Train Explosion’

Release Date – April 23

Where to Watch – Netflix

Directed by Shinji Higuchi, “Bullet Train Explosion” as the title suggests follows the explosion of a bullet train.

It’s a remake of the 1975 film titled “The Bullet Train” and stars Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Kanata Hosoda, Non, Takumi Saitoh, Machiko Ono, Jun Kaname, and Hana Toyoshima in main roles.

Panic ensues when it’s discovered that a Tokyo-bound train will explode if it slows below 100 kph. Authorities work hard to save the lives on board but will they succeed? Only time will tell, time that they are fighting against.

A bullet train bound for Tokyo must maintain its speed to keep a bomb from detonating. Can its passengers and crew race against time to avert disaster?

‘The Rehearsal’ Season 2

Release Date – April 21

Where to Watch – HBO, JioHotstar

The HBO series that went viral in 2022 is back with another season. Starring Nathan Fielder as a fictionalized version of the man himself, this show focuses on helping people rehearse difficult conversations or events they might have to confront someday.

A comedy show, The Rehearsal was born when Fielder got inspiration from human’s impulse to control their future.
