Taapsee Pannu Unleashes Rage in Netflix Film ‘Gandhari’ First Look

Taapsee Pannu intense first-look poster for Netflix film Gandhari

Taapsee Pannu charges into action as a fierce mother in the upcoming film “Gandhari”, which drops exclusively on Netflix on September 3, 2026. The intense first-look poster hit Instagram today, showing her bloodied yet determined face under dim industrial lights. Our sources confirmed that the project reunites her with writer-producer Kanika Dhillon and director Devashish Makhija.

Fans flooded comments within minutes. The poster alone sparked over 15,000 likes in the first hour. Kanika Dhillon wrote and produced the film through her banner Kathha Pictures.

We talked to early viewers of the announcement who said, “Taapsee looks unstoppable here. This role feels raw and powerful.” Another noted, “The title nods to the Mahabharata legend, and the vibe screams high-stakes revenge.”

Devashish Makhija brings his sharp indie edge from films like “Joram”. Ishwak Singh joins the cast along with Chhaya Kadam, Swastika Mukherjee, Mita Vashisht, and Jatin Sarna. Netflix India posted the poster with the line “Sabki aankhon par se patti jald utregi.”

This marks the sixth team-up between Taapsee and Kanika. Their past hits include “Haseen Dillruba” and “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba”. Early industry trackers peg the runtime near 120 minutes and predict strong global streams in the first weekend.

We saw Kanika call it a fiery tale of maternal rage. “Don’t mess with a tigress’ cub,” she said earlier. The film promises relentless action mixed with deep emotion.

Viewers can stream “Gandhari” only on Netflix starting September 3. Expect this one to rank high among 2026 Indian originals.
