Hyundai is set to unveil the Bayon in India on October 12, 2026. CarWale lists an expected ex-showroom price of ₹9.79 lakh to ₹15.49 lakh. The SUV is meant to sit between the Venue and the Creta.
That price is an estimate, not a sticker. Autocar India puts the band at about ₹9 lakh to ₹14 lakh and says the India car, codenamed Bc4i, is due this festive season. A road price for Delhi has been floated near ₹10.59 lakh. Hyundai has not posted an official price, a variant list, or a booking amount.
Specs on the table, not a road test
No Indian review or walkaround video is out yet. The Bayon sold in Europe is a different car: a 998 cc three-cylinder turbo with 90 PS and 172 Nm, and a 7-speed dual-clutch on one trim. Reports on the India model point to the 1.5-litre petrol already used in the Creta, about 114 bhp and 144 Nm, with a 6-speed manual or a CVT, plus a factory CNG option. If that CNG version is real, it would be Hyundai’s first CNG model over 4 metres.
- Expected price: ₹9.79 lakh to ₹15.49 lakh, ex-showroom, per CarWale
- Slot: above the Venue, below the Creta
- Expected engine: 1.5-litre petrol, manual or CVT, CNG reported
- Features named in reports: twin screens, sunroof, ventilated seats, six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera
Hyundai is slowly revealing the BAYON… and this one changes the first impression.
The latest teaser gives us a much clearer look at its more prominent front design.
Sharper. Bolder. More noticeable.
And we still haven’t seen the full car.
What do you think of Hyundai’s new design direction?

Those features are from pre-launch reports, not a spec sheet Hyundai has signed. Europe’s Bayon is 4,180 mm long with a 2,580 mm wheelbase. The India car may not match that. Until October 12, a specs video or a mileage figure would be a guess.
The unveil date is the search. Price, features, and a first-look video should follow the same day. A full review has to wait until someone drives it. CarWale’s listing is here.
