Joshi, Tenginkai, Bellad lead Hubballi ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ for Modi’s 25 years of Seva

Union Minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi joined a Seva Jyoti Yatra and a Viksit Bharat Sankalp meeting in Hubballi on October 7, 2026. The programme was held to mark 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and to call for a spirit of service, national unity and patriotism.

The procession started at Durgadabail Circle and ended at Sri Durgadevi Temple in Dajiban Peth. Joshi said thousands of party workers and members of the public walked with him. A Seva Jyoti was lit in memory of the Prime Minister’s leadership and his contribution to the country. The message from the yatra was a call to strengthen the Viksit Bharat resolve.

What Joshi said

Joshi said every citizen has a part in building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India. He asked people to carry forward Modi’s approach to public service and to work together to realise the Viksit Bharat goal.

Who walked with him

Hubballi-Dharwad West MLA Arvind Bellad and Hubballi-Dharwad Central MLA Mahesh Tenginkai attended. BJP district president Tippanna Majjagi and Dharwad rural BJP president Ningappa Sutagatti were present, along with corporators, senior leaders and party workers.

Photos from the yatra show Joshi, Bellad and Tenginkai with lighted torches, school students in the line, and a small decorated rath moving through the market streets. Flower petals were showered on the procession.

Joshi is Union Minister for Education, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy, and president of the International Solar Alliance.  Joshi posted the news on his official X account @JoshiPralhad.
