Pralhad Joshi campaigning for S.V. Sankanur at Gadag District Lawyers Association

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi met lawyers at the Gadag District Lawyers Association hall on October 16, 2026, and campaigned for BJP candidate S.V. Sankanur in the Karnataka West Graduates Constituency MLC election. He asked graduate voters to back Sankanur again.

Sankanur has served as a Member of the Legislative Council for 12 years. Joshi’s post said the sitting MLC has responded to graduates’ problems, worked for education sector development, and protected the interests of degree holders. The post urged voters to support him once more because of his experience and service.

Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai, MLA C.C. Patil, Gadag BJP district president Totappa (Raju) Kurudagi, Gadag District Lawyers Association president R.G. Kallur, and vice-president M.A. Sanganala attended the meeting along with other leaders and lawyers. The event was reported in Joshi’s X post.
