Chatbots may have put artificial intelligence in the spotlight, but robots are expected to be one of the biggest attractions at Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026.
The event, scheduled from November 17 to 19 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, will feature a 50,000-square-foot Robotics and Autonomous Systems Pavilion. Organizers say 101 robotics and drone startups are expected to take part.
That is a sign that India’s AI conversation is starting to move beyond software. The focus is increasingly shifting to machines that can perform tasks in the real world.
According to the summit organizers, visitors will see humanoid robots, industrial automation systems, drones, autonomous vehicles and robotics competitions. Several startups are also expected to demonstrate how AI can be used in warehouses, manufacturing plants and public infrastructure.
AI Leaves the Screen
Most people interact with AI through apps, chatbots and search tools. Physical AI is different. It combines software, sensors and hardware to help machines make decisions and act on them.
A warehouse robot that moves inventory, a drone that inspects power lines and a robot that guides visitors through a building are all examples of physical AI. These systems must respond to changes around them instead of simply generating text or images.
🚨 A glimpse of what’s coming to Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026.
The Robotics & AI Pavilion will spotlight startups working on physical AI, humanoids, autonomous systems and intelligent machines.
The summit is scheduled for November 17–19 at BIEC, Bengaluru, with demonstrations of emerging technologies.

The technology is attracting attention from industries facing labor shortages, rising costs and pressure to improve efficiency.
Startups Get a Big Stage
The robotics pavilion is expected to bring together founders, investors, researchers and potential customers. For young companies, the summit offers a chance to show their products outside the lab and explain how they can solve real business problems.
Many Indian startups have traditionally focused on software because it is cheaper and faster to build. Robotics requires larger investments and more engineering expertise. That is one reason why the number of participating robotics startups is drawing attention this year.
The official event website lists a dedicated Robotics and Autonomous Systems Pavilion, where startups will showcase technologies ranging from drones and warehouse robots to autonomous machines.
Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 is being held under the theme ‘AI & Beyond.’ While discussions about generative AI are likely to continue, robots, drones, and autonomous machines could become some of the most talked-about exhibits at the event.
For visitors, the biggest question may not be what the next chatbot can do. It may be what the next generation of AI-powered machines can do outside the screen.
