Bengaluru North commissioner takes civic calls this Friday

Bengaluru North City Corporation will take citizen calls on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar will be on the line. The phone-in is held every Friday.

Residents can report roads and potholes, streetlights, solid waste, hazardous trees and branches, mosquito control, stray dogs, parks and playgrounds, footpath encroachments, e-Khata services, unauthorized banners, and other civic issues.

Each grievance will be logged on the Sahaaya 2.0 portal and sent to the department concerned. The corporation said complaint details and updates will go back to the citizen by SMS.

The phone and WhatsApp number is 9480685705. The landlines are 080-22975936 and 080-23636671.

Complaints can also be filed on the Sahaaya 2.0 mobile app. The window is two hours. A call after 9:00 am will miss the commissioner and has to go through the app or a later Friday.

What to have ready

A useful call names the ward, the street, and the fault. A pothole, a dead streetlight, a fallen branch, or a banner needs a location, not a general complaint about the city. e-Khata questions can go on the same line. The corporation has not published a cap on how many calls it will take in the two hours.
