Bengaluru Mob Lynching: Unfolding Details and Official Response
According to Minister G Parameshwara, the incident took place amid a lively cricket match when an unidentified individual loudly shouted “Pakistan Zindabad,” a slogan that triggered outrage among spectators. “An incident of mob lynching has been reported during a local cricket match,” Parameshwara explained, adding, “The individual who shouted the slogan was attacked by a group of people, which ultimately resulted in his death.”
He described the situation as tragic and noted that law enforcement agencies swiftly responded. “As of now, we have arrested 10-12 people involved in the assault,” he stated, reaffirming that police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the violence.
Minister G Parameshwara Calls for Peace and Harmony
In his official statement, Parameshwara urged the public to remain calm and refrain from retaliatory actions. “It is crucial for the community to maintain peace and harmony,” he emphasized. “We are committed to taking strict legal action against those involved in this heinous act, and I appeal to everyone to cooperate and uphold our social fabric.”

He further added that authorities are intensifying efforts to identify the individual who shouted the slogan, to ensure appropriate legal proceedings follow. Parameshwara concluded by reassuring citizens: “The government is committed to justice, and we will ensure that such incidents do not repeat.”
