Over 42 Lakh Students Appeared for CBSE Exams in 2025

This year’s exams saw an unprecedented participation, with more than 42.3 lakh students taking the tests across the country. Of these, approximately 22 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams, while the remaining 20.3 lakh sat for Class 12. The exams were held over a span of 49 days, from February 15 to April 4, and were conducted smoothly despite logistical challenges.

Although an official date has not been announced, sources suggest the results could be declared by the third week of May.
