Karjol said he did not stop at listening.

I immediately discussed the issues with senior officials of the concerned departments over the phone and instructed them to take prompt action and find solutions at the earliest,” the minister said in a social media post.

People familiar with the meeting said officials from multiple departments were contacted while discussions were underway. Such direct communication, they noted, can help reduce delays that often affect grievance redressal.
Chitradurga is home to thousands of farming families, making agriculture one of the district’s most important economic activities. Water management, crop-related support, road connectivity, and access to government services continue to rank among the most common concerns raised by rural communities.
Karjol also reiterated his commitment to the constituency.
“I remain committed to being the voice of every citizen in the constituency and to the overall development of Chitradurga,” he stated.
Public grievance meetings have become a regular feature in many parts of Karnataka, helping elected representatives stay connected with local issues. Residents who attended Sunday’s interaction expressed hope that the directions issued to officials would translate into visible action in the coming weeks.
