Gandhada Gudi Balaga (R) Karnataka launched Abhiyana-28 to paint a government Kannada school in Shikaripur taluk, Shivamogga district. We saw the group call volunteers and sponsors to the Government Kannada Higher Primary School at Kattige Halli. Our sources said the campaign line is simple: not just talk; work is the answer.
The school walls look tired in the “before” photos. Peeling paint. Bare rooms. After pictures from earlier drives show yellow walls, cartoon murals, trees, and a rainbow. Organizers want the same lift for this campus.
We talked to people circulating the poster. One supporter said children study better in a bright classroom. Another said one day of labor can change the look of a whole block.
