Aadhav Arjuna Hits Back as EPS Opens Family Line on Vijay

Watch the enclosed clip of Minister Aadhav Arjuna speaking before he left for the Dharapuram bypoll campaign. He accused AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami of targeting Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s private life. Our sources posted the remarks through News Arena India on September 29, 2026.

Arjuna compared the line of attack to old DMK campaigning against J. Jayalalithaa. He called EPS’s pitch “disgraceful” and said voters would reject it. We saw him frame the trip as TVK work for the October 6 Assembly by-election.

Dharapuram is a reserved seat in Tiruppur district. The vacancy followed P. Sathyabama’s move from AIADMK to TVK. AIADMK has fielded K. Banumathi. TVK is backing Sathyabama. DMK, NTK, and the Left are also on the ballot. Counting is listed for October 9.

EPS has already campaigned in Dharapuram this week. He told crowds that real affection means living with parents, spouse, and children, a remark local Tamil desks read as a dig at Vijay. He also attacked the TVK candidate as a turncoat who, he said, “sold out for cash.”

 Aadhav Arjuna Hits EPS Over Vijay Personal Attacks

Arjuna is the Villivakkam MLA and a TVK minister. CM Vijay earlier named him to oversee the Madurantakam bypoll team, with K.G. Arunraj listed for Dharapuram. The Dharapuram visit still puts him on the same circuit as EPS’s star campaign.

Both seats are the first bypoll test for the months-old TVK government. Watch the clip for Arjuna’s full wording. Official campaign schedules and candidate lists sit with the Election Commission and the parties, not with this video alone.
