The IT BT department page says Karnataka will reimburse up to ₹1 lakh a year, excluding GST, for a cyber audit, incident management, or incident response bought from a Karnataka-based, CERT-In empanelled firm. The cap is 100 startups a year. The applicant must be registered with the Karnataka Startup Cell.
A separate research grant covers up to 50 percent of project cost, or ₹50 lakh, whichever is lower. The department page says five such projects can be funded each year.
The startup must be based in Karnataka and paired with a Karnataka academic institute. Internship support on the same policy page is ₹10,000 a month for undergraduates and ₹15,000 a month for postgraduates, for up to three months.
The poster does not name the officials who will take questions. Registration is through the department link: https://lnkd.in/eWcZZs4M.
