SSK Panch Trust’s Sri Durgadevi Temple in Dajiban Peth,

The S.S.K. Panch Trust’s Sri Durgadevi Temple in Dajiban Peth, Hubballi, held the Bhandara Mahapooja of Sri Dyamavvadevi and Sri Durgadevi on Friday, October 30, 2026. The rituals took place with devotion and large public participation.

Thousands of devotees visited the temple during the day. They offered prayers, took darshan of the deities, joined the special pooja, and received teertha and prasada. Many people contributed in the form of service, money, and personal effort.

Role of 25 Muttade Women

The temple committee specially appointed 25 muttade women for the Bhandara Mahapooja. These women took part in the religious procedures under the leadership of Sri Bhaskar Jituri. Members of the S.S.K. Panch Trust’s Panch Committee, Youth Mandal, and Women’s Mandal also supported the arrangements.

The muttade women carried out their duties with visible enthusiasm. Their involvement formed a key part of the day’s rituals at the temple.

Crowd and Prasada Distribution

More than 10,000 devotees took part in the Bhandara Pooja and collected the prasada. The main prasada distribution began at 2:20 pm with the 25 sumangalis receiving it first. Serving continued without interruption until 6:00 pm.

In the later stage, the five main members of the Sri Durgadevi Panchayat and youth mandal members stood in line to accept the prasada. The entire programme remained peaceful and well organised.

The Bhandara Mahapooja marked the final stage of the Dasara celebrations at this old Gramadevate temple in Hubballi. Devotees left after receiving the goddess’s blessings and the special offering.
