Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya is again busy with his city’s development. On December 18, 2021, the dynamic MP, who is also the Youth Wing head of the BJP, inspected the construction work of the Ejipura Flyover in Koramangala. He posted on his social media handles about the inspection and uploaded photos of the same.
Tejasvi Surya wrote on Facebook:
Inspected the construction work of Ejipura Flyover in Koramangala, B’luru, along with MLC elect Shri Gopinath Reddy.
This 2.5 km flyover has only been 45% completed even after three years of commencement. Such a slow pace of work has caused severe inconvenience for citizens.
This enormous delay & failure reflects BBMP’s inefficiency in completing even small projects.
Across the country, be it Kashi, Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad, or Chennai – we have seen bigger corridors, flyovers & highways being constructed in just a couple of years.
BBMP has now given a revised deadline of Jan 2023. I spoke to @BBMPCOMM Gaurav Gupta to look into the matter & replace the contractor if needed.
Earlier in the day, Surya promoted an app developed by a 16-year-old. He wrote, “Met 16-year-old Shankar who has developed the “SaveMed” App to crowdsource unused medicines & distribute it to the needy.”
