A summary of “Frieren” anime episode 9
In “Frieren’s” previous episode, Graf Granat expressed his gratitude towards Fren and Stark for rescuing him. He also forgives them for the incident involving “Frieren” that occurred in the town.
Graf vividly recalled how the courageously Elfen mage and her heroic companions previously prevented Auras’ fury from befalling their community once he discovered “Frieren”‘s identity.
In a part of the story “Frieren” encountered Aura the Guillotine, one of the seven sages of destruction. Aura demonstrated her power by controlling an army of undead using her ability called the Scales of Obedience. This ability allowed her to manipulate anyone whose mana level was lower than hers.
