Members of the SSK community have been urged to focus on unity, cooperation, and constructive dialogue following a recent gathering that brought community members together on a common platform.
In a message shared after the event, community member Bhagyalakshmi Bharade of Hosapete described the gathering as an important step forward for the SSK community.
She noted that for the first time, many members were able to come together under one roof to express their views, discuss concerns and share ideas for the future.
She also appreciated the efforts of Shashikumar Ji, Rajeshwari Jadi and their teams for taking the initiative to organize the event and encourage wider participation from community members.
Change Requires Patience and Collective Effort
According to Bharade, long-standing customs, traditions and social practices cannot be changed through a single meeting. Meaningful change within any community takes time, patience and the support of all members.
She stressed that blaming individuals for existing challenges would not help in finding solutions. Instead, community members should treat recent discussions as a learning experience and work together to bring positive reforms.
“The responsibility for community development does not belong to one leader or one committee. It belongs to all of us,” she said while encouraging members to participate actively in future initiatives.
Focus on the Next Generation
Bharade also highlighted the importance of educating younger generations about the history, culture, traditions and values of the SSK community. She said preserving community identity while preparing young people for the future should be a shared responsibility.
She encouraged families to begin positive change at home by guiding children and youth with the values and principles that have shaped the community over the years.
Calling for a constructive approach, she urged members to move beyond criticism, complaints and accusations. Future meetings, she suggested, should focus on clear agendas, practical reforms and actionable plans that benefit the entire community.
She further emphasized that while opinions may differ, the shared identity, heritage and future of the community should serve as a unifying force.
Concluding her message, Bharade called on all members to support one another and work collectively toward building a stronger, progressive and respected future for the SSK community.
“A meeting may end, but the journey of positive social change should never stop,” she said.
