Given that they are still battling escalating costs as 2022 draws to a close, many Americans will be unsure whether they can anticipate any financial relief in the upcoming year.
Although the federal payouts have long expired, several states that joined the game later are still dispersing stimulus checks. A few states still have payments due in 2023, even though several programs are set to terminate in 2022.
Illinois Tax Rebate
In 2023, Illinois residents who qualify might get two payments: a property tax refund and an income tax rebate. Only residents with an adjusted gross income of under $200,000 in 2021 are subject to income tax at $50.
You must be an Illinois resident who paid property taxes on your primary residence in 2020 to be eligible for the property tax rebate, which is worth at least $300.
