BTS member Jungkook recently shared his current ‘one big goal,’ revealing that he wants to become a giant pop star. Having debuted with BTS in 2013, he recently released his solo song “Seven” along with its music video. The song has been described as an invigorating summer track by BTS agency BigHit Music.
Recently, he expressed these thoughts in an interview with Weverse Magazine. During a new interview, Jungkook opened up about his personal experiences and how he didn’t plan to release “Seven” beforehand; he decided to sing it after Producer Bang Si-hyuk played it for him, and he was impressed. He also spoke about how he used to feel weighed down and tortured by his mistakes in the past but now approaches errors with a more positive mindset, acknowledging them as part of the learning process.
“I only have one, big goal, and it’s to be a giant pop star. I’m not thinking about what the next concept I pursue is going to be or anything. Seven wasn’t something I planned in advance either—Producer Bang Si-hyuk just played it for me, and it was so good, I said, ‘Oh, I definitely have to do this one’.”
On stage, Jungkook aims to be ‘a lot more natural’ and wants to overcome any bad habits he may have developed. Jungkook said that he wants to be ‘a lot more natural’ ans further added that he doesn’t ‘like the bad habits I already developed’ saying that ‘they’re all I can see’.He wishes to avoid limiting his movement and strives to make each action distinct from the other.
While some already see him as a ‘giant pop star,’ Jungkook doesn’t view himself that way. He shared his ambition to be more appreciated and to continue improving.
Jungkook further revealed that he’s ‘never been 100% satisfied.’ However, he now handles mistakes differently, choosing to keep things simple and accept errors as a natural part of growth. He remains determined to do a good job and keeps pushing forward. Recently, he expressed these thoughts in an interview with Weverse Magazine.
